My wife was attacked and robbed in broad daylight , her cousin was shot dead, her mother was saved from a brutal hi-jacking when an old man (car-guard) came to her aid after 5 black men tried to bundle her in her car and steal it.
The South African Police have acknowledged that they are fighting a losing battle against crime, serious crimes have risen and continue to do so unabated.
We have Ministers in government that say we should leave and stop whining, we have youth leaders who threaten the use of violence and to make this country ungovernable, we have an army that has members going on the rampage, shooting at policemen and petrol bombing Police vehicles. We have over 8000 South African Police issued firearms that have been lost or stolen or sold to criminals. These same firearms are then used in the most heinous of crimes.
Yes we live in fear, each and every day I wonder if I will return home to my wife safely after my work, or if when I come home I will be greeted by my worst nightmare. My wife feels the same.
I implore you to not be swayed by “forked tongues” and to listen to the facts and not be clouded by emotion and ill-sentiment. Our government is failing us and the systematic rapes,murders and crimes that are meted out to the ''whites'' is something that needs to be addressed by the international community.

The plight of “white” South Africans and “white” citizens form other countries, but are residents in South Africa is a story that needs to be told.
It is no secret that serious crime is so severe in South Africa that we are labelled as the “Murder and Rape Capital” of the world.
I ask you to interview or speak to anyone who has contributed to this saga of granting refugee status to a “white person” and to listen to what many of us “white” have to endure every day.
We live in fortresses, surrounded by 6 foot walls with Electric fencing on top. We also have Razor wire and dogs to hopefully deter would be criminals.
We have state of the art alarm systems and beams on our properties. We have to pay “Security service providers” to patrol our neighbourhoods each and every day of the year.
When we go out shopping we park our cars in areas where there are “Car-Guards” so that we can live in the hope that our vehicle will still be there when we return or that the “Car-Guards” will protect us from becoming a victim of a brutal and often deadly car Hi-Jacking.
In our area alone in the last 3 weeks, 6 old aged ,frail people have been brutally attacked in their homes. Two (2) have died because of the beatings they received from the black youths that carried out theses senseless attacks.
Old aged people are too scared to venture out of their own doors into their own yards as they live in fear of becoming another “selective” target and statistic.Recently in one such incident after a frail old man was beaten to within an inch of his life a SAPS Police officer told the victim's daughter that “he” the victim should not have gone outside to see who was n his garden.
In essence what he is saying, is that the criminals are free to roam in our society and we the “law abiding citizens” must lock our selves in our houses and pray that no harm will befall us.
I have been told many times that “whites” do not belong in South Africa as it is a black man's land. We “whites” are settlers and we should leave as there is no place for us here and it the “Black Man's” land.
There is no reconciliation, there exists only an inbred hatred of the “white” man, and other people of different nationalities who are deemed to be products of a “Colonial” past.
Xenophobia , this made the headlines in last past 6 months when local “Black South African's” attacked foreign nationals who themselves were seeking refugee status and a better life.
Has the international community already forgotten about this.
There is a “National Blanket” on crime statistics that has been set down by the highest authority in government, they (SA Gov) do not want the truth to get out and for the rest of the world to see what is actually happening in South Africa.
They (SA Gov) do this because they do not wish for the Football 2010 world cup to be pulled from them when the real truth get's out. It is serious here and how anyone can sleep at night and think that the Football World Cup will go of without a hitch is seriously deluded. Look at what happened during the Confed Cup that recently took place, again the incidents were blanketed so that there would be no negative press.
How many tourists will fall prey to the criminals during this time ? It is a worry and something that we “whites” have highlighted many times to the authorities, only to be told that we are “racists” and we are being negative. You have “quota's” in all of the sports that are deemed to be “white” man's sport's. Yet in South African football there are none?
I ask you this: Please ask the South African government for all “statistics on crime”, For the last 15 years since “1994.”
- What are the statistics for crimes carried out by “whites” against other race groups, particularly against blacks?
- What are the statistics of crimes that are carried out by blacks against other race groups.?
- Ask any “white” who lives in South Africa if they have been a victim of crime or know of a family member or friend that has been a victim of crime by a black person.?

If South Africa was truly a “Rainbow nation” and a “Democracy” in the true sense of the word, why is it there are laws that sideline the whites in the Employment sector. Why is it that even today after 15 years of “freedom” whites are subjected to “BEE” and “AFFIRMATIVE ACTION”....I have family members who have grown up and cannot now secure employment because they are white.
Why is it that so many “whites” have emigrated to other countries. If there were no issues then why is it so many skilled labourers have left?
I do not condone what has happened in the past, to do so would be naive. What I do wish for, is that we can all live together in harmony and that the “Hang-up's, baggage and Issues” that prevail , can be set aside and that we can truly build up and empower this beautiful country.
I also ask you to do what is best for your citizens in your country and not give in to any other country that wishes to dabble in “your” internal affairs. No matter what the “rhetoric” they spout, if you send Mr Brandon Huntley back to South Africa you are signing his death warrant.

I really and sincerely hope that this is not sidelined like everything else. That someone does take notice, and the bleeding hearts of the European Nations take note what it means to truly live in Africa.
The time has come for change,we cannot stand by and watch everything fall a part, and be taken away form us just like they did to the farmers in Zim.
Living in South Africa is like living on a time bomb. The white man should have the same status as the black refugee. The South African Government must take action against crime, stop the brutal and senseless violence, which affects the white, the black, the coloured and the indian who live in peace in SA.
