Subject: Invitation to Symposium - 'Prospects for a Non-Racial South Africa' - Ahmed Kathrada Foundation
Dear Sir/Madam,
Please accept this invitation from the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation for you to attend a Symposium "Prospects for a Non-Racial Future in SA" to be held at the Sci Bono Auditorium on the 26th of May 2011 at 17.30. This is the first of a series of conversations addressing non-racialism -- its meanings and interpretations -- in contemporary South Africa, a subject that is not only timely, but crucial to address in all spaces, by as wide a range of people as possible, in South Africa.
Please feel free to forward this invite on to your colleagues and networks.
Kindest Regards,
Caryn

Hi Caryn
Many thanks for your invitation. I don’t live near Jhb, so could not attend. I also don’t share your views on non-racialism; or what I interpret the views of non-racialism of your panel to be; but I do support open and wide ranging discussions so that all perspectives on all issues can be heard. Unfortunately this is not currently a priority for most people or organisations; so I appreciate you forwarding me your invitation.
Feel free to forward others, at any time. If there is an event near me (George); I shall be happy to attend.
Many thanks
Lara Johnstone

Hi Lara,
Thanks for your email. I'd be interested in what your views on non-racialism are.
Because it is such a complex subject, with widely divergent viewpoints, I think the larger priority of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, beyond defining non-racialism, is over the next two years to begin to arrive at an understanding of what non-racialism means; to begin to engage with communities, interested persons and organisations about how to envisage a non-racial SA, and then to take forward the task of building a non-racial SA. The Symposium is part of that longer-term initiative.
If there are any events like this in George or surroundings, I will be sure to let you know.
Kindest Regards
Caryn

Hi Caryn,
Muhammad Ali on Racial Integration (03:29) |
I imagine you will be more successful if you allow for multiple definitions of non-racialism, which I think is what you are saying; if I interpret you correctly.
In my view the only workable non-racial South Africa is to allow all SA’s ethno-cultural tribes to secede and rule themselves, according to their tribal customs and practices; in a larger federation state. In a political correct corporate dominated politically correct environment; psychological theoretical and practical evidence proves that demanding people to suppress their honest opinions, results in such suppressed energy either being channeled into depression or rage. Take a look at South Africa’s depression and rage crime statistics, and you shall see how the political correct ‘non-racialism’ paradigm is wrecking communities; as it demands they become ‘non-black’ and ‘non-white’ consumers, instead of being proud about their culture and race. The only winners are corporation fatcats; who have robbed an entire nation (or at least the idiots who don’t know they are being massively psychological brainwashed) of their souls.

I am a member of the Radical Honesty culture. Actually Radical Honesty is the only culture in the world – that I am aware of – where whites and blacks have brutally honest conversations, share their anger brutally honestly face-to-face, with a commitment to sincere forgiveness, and have the most unbelievable relationships of honesty, trust and friendship. But it requires brutal honesty of sharing of anger; which most people are petrified of; they prefer gossiping about those they are pissed off with, and playing the isolation game. Like totally psychological infants.
In the absence of tribal secession federation, the future consequences of Peak Oil, Peak Fertilizer, Peak Fiat Currency, Peak Food, i.e. Overpopulation colliding with finite and depleting resources, shall result in exponentially increasing local, national and international resource wars (Think: Iraq, Afghanistan & Libya, internationally; also the ‘Arab Spring’ is not so much about democracy; but about Overpopulation in the Middle East, colliding with Peak Food and Water; which has resulted in massive Food Price spikes, that is the underlying driver of the ‘revolutions’.)
The Oil Factor: Behind the War on Terror, by Free Will Productions (www.theoilfactor.com) “Today, 6.5 billion humans depend entirely on oil for food, energy, plastics & chemicals.... Population growth is on a collision course with the inevitable decline in oil production. The "war on terror" happens where 3/4 of the world's remaining oil and natural gas is located.....” |
In a multi-cultural society, Peak Oil shall aggravate cultural friction resource wars, and persons of immoral character, shall use such opportunities to rally mobs behind them in an ‘us’ vs. ‘them’ resource war environment. It shall be far more conducive to getting persons to cooperate, if they are allowed to secede into bio-regional ethno-cultural little volkstaats, ruling themselves, in a bigger federation of states.
That is the short version. Attached is a letter to Oprah Winfrey, regarding her announcement of her upcoming visit to SA; which may give you some practical application kinesthetic information about what I mean; about brutal honesty race relations. I hear subsequent to having sent off the letters to Ms. Winfrey and Maya Angelou, that Ms. Barack Obama has now also decided to visit South Africa. Interesting!
Hope that provides you with somewhat of an answer.
Regards,
Lara Johnstone
