VVK is ‘Right Wing’ of Joseph Stalin, Karl Marx, Julius Malema, Russel Botman, or who?

I don’t know what you mean by ‘right wing’. To be left or right of something, refers to particular reference points; in the same as to be West (left) or East (right) of Greenwich Meantime. So you can be in the Eastern Hemisphere, but be west of a particular reference point; i.e. Capetown is West of George; but both are in the Eastern Hemisphere. So what reference points do you refer to, when you say the VVK is ‘right wing’?

If Russel Botman is a far left communist, then perhaps it is true the VVK is far right of Russel Botman. But it is not clear which reference points you refer to, when you state that the VVK is ‘far right’.

Furthermore, if the VVK is indeed a ‘right wing’ organisation; what does that mean?

Does it mean they should not be listened to? They should be ignored, or censored? Their opinions are not worthy of critical enquiry and investigation?

For example: The liberal DA, African National Congress, Afriforum, FW de Klerk Foundation and Nelson Mandela Foundation, Afrikanerbond and South African media editors, all pretend to the world that they support ‘truth and reconciliation’. They pretend they support the rule of law and justice for all South Africa’s cultures and tribes.

I am a member of a culture whose social contract is founded on truth telling and sincere sensate forgiveness; where we have blacks and whites who live in accordance to our social contract of brutal honesty; and yet I am hated and despised by the Democratic Alliance, the ANC, who consider me to be lower than an Apartheid Kaffir. I am ignored as if I don’t exist.

They pretend to support ‘truth and reconciliation’ but at the same time endorse the legal and political persecution of the only individual in South Africa whose entire culture is founded on truth telling and sincere forgiveness. In fact CityPress consider a culture founded on truth telling and sincere forgiveness to be ‘right wing’.

So, what do you mean, Prof. Botman, when you say an organisation is ‘right wing’? And why even refer to any organisation as ‘right wing’, why not address the issues they raise, the issues and values they stand for; and if you have any objections to those issues, provide your evidence and engage them in debate.

On Tuesday 5 April 2011 UNPO attended a press conference of Mr. Paul Kruger, chairman of the 'Afrikaner Volksraad Verkiesing Kommissie' (VVK), on the ongoing struggle of the Afrikaners to preserve their culture and gain autonomy.

UNPO has been supporting the Afrikaners in their quest for self-determination since 2008, when the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) became one of our Members. The VVK (literally: Peoples Council Elections Commission) is not affiliated to the FF+, but nevertheless UNPO was pleased to provide the VVK with a place to explain their agenda, as we believe that extra attention to the Afrikaner cause is always welcome.

The press conference started with a movie about the history of the Afrikaners, beginning at the time of the arrival of the Dutch East India Company at the Cape in 1652 and continuing to the present day. The movie gave special attention to the situation of the Afrikaners since the end of white rule in South Africa in 1994. Shocking images were displayed of murdered Afrikaners, graphically showing how the very high murder rate in South Africa hits particularly the Boers extremely hard, with the murder rate on Afrikaners more than two hundred times higher than that in Europe for example.

VVK Meeting disrupted by attack on Paul Kruger

A small group of "Boer"-extremists under the leadership of Mr. Piet Rudolph disrupted the Volksraad Verkiessing Kommissie meeting held at Paardekraal on Krugersdrop last night. A follower of Mr. Rudolph stormed down on Mr. Paul Kruger of the VVK and started beating him in the face till the blood splattered. A bleeding Mr. Kruger subsequently made a call for unity, considering the threats being faced by the Afrikaner volk; and the need for transparent leadership.

From the beginning of the meeting, Rudolph shouted interruptions while the ten candidates standing for the VVK election clarified their positions should they be elected to the Volksraad. Despite these interruptions, the meeting ran smoothly and there was a high degree of unity among the candidates and the audience about the struggle for survival for Africaners and the need for visible Afrikaner leadership.

At the very end of the meeting, without any provocation Rudolph's henchman attacked Paul Kruger at the microphone, beating him in the face while he was handling the audience's questions.

Most of the people who attended the meeting, voiced their disappointment with the unsolicited attack on Mr. Kruger and expressed their opinions that it reflected badly on all Afrikaners. Mr. Jaco Mulder of the Freedom Front Plus, who was also present in the audience, described it as a "reality TV show" attack, saying: "It surprised me that Piet Rudolph is still at large, because he causes trouble wherever he goes." According to Mulder, Mr. Kruger has already received death threats from "Boer" extremists in regards to his role in the organization of the Volksraad for an Afrikaner People's Assembly Elections.

In contrast to the behavior of Rudolph and his accomplice, Kruger treated Rudolph with great tolerance, including providing him with time to make a speech. During his speech Rudolph accused Kruger of "doing a new thing" and that the restoration of the Boer Republics was the only possible political solution for the country. He also attempted to create suspicions surrounding the VVK, and alleged that Mr. Kruger had a hidden agenda.

Nigel Farage, UKIP MEP in the European Parliament, for South East Region requested City of Westminster Magistrates Court to please provide the courts response to the Amicus Curiae Application filed by Lara Johnstone in RSA v. Shrien Dewani.

Mr. Farage believes that any applicant who files a legal application to the clerk of the court, should receive a written answer, even if such an application is unusual; and that he trusts that the court shall 'issue the requisite notice of a decision, without further delay.'

On behalf of Ambassador de Vos, Mr. Jurgens wished to convey that the Embassy had carefully studied the petition, and responded with some specific legal recommendations, and advising on the correct procedures for applying for Refugee Status in the Netherlands, or alternatively applying for citizenship of the Netherlands.

Aristotle declared that there should be a limit to the size of states. But really, what did he know? He lived at a time when the entire population of the world was somewhere around 50 million—about the size of England today. Athens, where he lived, would have been under 100,000 people. He couldn’t even imagine a world (ours) of 6.8 billion, or a city (Tokyo) of 36 million. How is he going to help us?

He, at least, knew this much:

“Experience shows that a very populous city can rarely, if ever, be well governed; since all cities which have a reputation for good government have a limit of population. We may argue on grounds of reason, and the same result will follow: for law is order, and good law is good order; but a very great multitude cannot be orderly.”

So political units, Aristotle said, have to be limited. And it is with that understanding that we now may start contemplating what in today’s world would constitute the ideal, or optimum, size of a political state.

This is not some sort of idle philosopher’s quest but the foundation of a serious reordering of our political landscape, and a reordering such as the process of secession—indeed, only the process of secession—could provide. The U.S. provides abundant evidence that a state as large as 310 million people is ungovernable. One scholar recently said that we are in the fourth decade of the U.S. Congress’ inability to pass a single measure of social consequence. Bloated and corrupted beyond its ability to address any of the problems it has created as an empire, it is a blatant failure. So what could replace it, and at what size? The answer is the independent states of America.

Let us start by looking at modern nations to give us some clue as to population sizes that actually work.

Among the nations that are recognized models of statecraft, eight are below 500,000: Luxembourg, Malta, Iceland, Barbados, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, and San Marino.

The Offices of Ambassador Rob de Vos and Consul David de Wall, acknowledged receipt of the African White Refugees Petition, from 34 Founding Petitioners to Europe; 14 of whom are petitioning the Netherlands Government.

Ambassador de Vos is requested to transparently officially forward the Volkstaat Secession / Jus Sanguinis Petition and African White Refugees Briefing Paper to Officials and citizens of the Kingdom of Netherlands.

Petition letters delivered to the Dutch Embassy were addressed to: The Dutch Royal Family: Queen Beatrix, the Prince of Orange, Prince Constantijn, Prince Laurentien, Princess Magriet, Princess Maxima, and Mr. Pieter van Vollenhoven; leaders of political parties: Geert Wilders (Partij voor de Vrijheid - PVV), Kees van der Staaij (Staatkundige Gereformeerde partij - SGP), Mark Rutte (People's Party for Freedom and Democracy - VVD), and Job Cohen (Labour Party - PvdA).
