I regret that you and the government have chosen to interfere with the correct decision of the Immigration and Refugee Board for the sake of political expediency.
Anyone who remembers the Durban Conference Against Racism knows that South Africa is experiencing a period of intense racial hatred against white Africans and even black Africans who are not of South African heritage. It is sad day for Canada when our government decides to do what is politically expedient and panders to the international media instead of respecting the rule of law.
Email to Minister Kenney, from Graham Sproule, Edmunton-Leduc
The Honourable Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Dear Minister Kenney:
I regret that you and the government have chosen to interfere with the correct decision of the Immigration and Refugee Board for the sake of political expediency. We are likely close to a federal election and I believe the current government will lose support in this election because of the opportunistic by the government to overturn the ruling to grant Brand Huntley refugee status.
Sincerely,
Graham Sproule
