I was a Minister in President Mandela's Cabinet when he informed us of his decision to appoint Archbishop Desmond Tutu as Chairperson of the TRC. Cabinet records will show that I objected even then, for the success and the credibility of the TRC depended on non-partisan leadership. Archbishop Tutu was aligned with the ANC and was a former patron of the UDF. How could the IFP expect fairness in the TRC process?

Dear friends and fellow South Africans,

I have tremendous respect for Mrs Graca Machel and for the work she is doing through The Elders to protect women and children in our country and on our continent. I was therefore intrigued by her thoughts on violence in South Africa and how we might benefit from a second Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Delivering the second annual Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture at the University of the Western Cape this week, Mrs Machel spoke of the TRC as a moment for victims and perpetrators to look each other in the eye, and face the painful truth. Perhaps, she said, we need a similar institution again to deal with the great hurt we are inflicting on one another through rape and violence.

The premise that such initiative would bring healing in our society is predicated on the assumption that the first TRC brought reconciliation to South Africa. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Mrs Machel pointed out how many of our people still carry the wounds and scars of Apartheid and "We are harming one another because we can't control our pain."

Dear friends and fellow South Africans,

In the wake of the Marikana Mine massacre, we in the opposition have called for answers. During yesterday's debate in the National Assembly, many pertinent questions were posed.

Who gave the order to shoot? Who authorised the use of live ammunition? At what point did the Minister of Mineral Resources intervene in the dispute? At what point did the Minister of Police intervene? Why did negotiations break down between the mineworkers' representatives and the management of Lonmin? Why were the striking workers carrying traditional weapons? Why were NUM and AMCU not given equal standing in talks with Government?

Beneath the many questions runs a common thread: how could this have happened in a democratic South Africa?

As our nation's representatives grappled with this painful question in the National Assembly, the eyes of the world were upon us. We were also watched from the gallery by the Minister for Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration, Kalon Dicki Chhoyang.

Kalon Chhoyang is visiting South Africa to raise awareness of the human rights violations which continue in Tibet. I had the pleasure of meeting with the Kalon on Monday morning in Durban, where she kindly thanked me for my support of the Tibetan struggle for autonomy.

Even in a country that sees 44 murders a day, the case has left the public horrified.

A gang of robbers gunned down a father, raped and murdered his wife.

Then, in a final act of sickening brutality, they drowned the couple’s 12-year-old son in scalding bath water.

Amaro Viana was murdered to prevent him from identifying the three housebreakers who carried out the raid in suburban South Africa.

The gang included the family’s gardener and the son of a domestic servant.

It was claimed they were motivated by the way they had been treated by the Viana family.

Appearing in court yesterday, the gardener Patrick Radebe, 24, confessed to being part of the gang which broke into their home in October last year.

Problem Solving Leadership, as opposed to the Masculine Insecurity conventional Parasite Leadership.

Problem solving leadership requires their followers/colleagues to be committed to brutal honesty root cause problem solving. Problem solving leadership confronts another man’s controversial statements honourably and scientifically with a focus on determining the truth about the relevant issue, whatever the truth may be.

Parasitical Leadership is where so-called ‘leaders’ choose some kind of ideology to profess to practice whereby they pretend to solve problems, in order to garner themselves a following, for their own socio-political or economic benefit. Their Parasite Leadership ‘problem solving’ deliberately avoids confronting the root cause of the problem, and only focuses on addressing the symptoms of the problem; because their entire strategy is to live like a parasite off pretending to solve the problem. Put differently: The bath is overflowing, they are focussed on endlessly mopping up the floor. Anyone who suggests the root cause (tap) be turned off, is vilified. Parasite Leaders do everything to avoid confronting the suggestion of turning off the tap, which of course would mean the problem is solved, and their so-called ‘problem solving’ skils are not only no longer necessary, but their deliberate refusal to address the root cause of the problem may be questioned and expose their role as a Parasite. Finally turning off the tap would mean the end of their Parasitical ability to socio-politically and economically benefit from the unsolved problem. Request for Information: Prior, or subsequent to, the ANC’s M-Plan declaration of War against Apartheid: Did any EU Anti-Apartheid Organisation advise the ANC or any SA Anti-Apartheid Organisation to avoid/suspend the violent ‘liberation struggle ’campaign against the Apartheid Goverment, and to launch a non-violent cultural and political campaign to stop the African ‘swart gevaar’ breeding-war population explosion, to demonstrate the ANC’s honourable Just War Just Cause Intentions?

Jus Sanguinis argue that the TRC was a fraud, because it did not enquire into evidence to show that the ANC (a) did not have a just cause, (b) did not declare war on Apartheid as a last resort, (c) the ANC’s war against apartheid was not declared by proper authority; (d) ANC did not possess right intention, (e) ANC did not have a reasonable chance of success, and (f) ANC did not use proportional force; (g) Post Bellum: ANC are doing all in their power -- including the continuation of their breeding war against whites in South Africa – to facilitate the destruction of Boer-Afrikaner and other minority cultures, some of whom (the Radical Honesty culture) have absolutely no standing whatsoever in SA’s alleged ‘multi-culti’ courtrooms; (h) the ANC repeatedly reneged upon its promises of Amnesty destroying all trust in future political agreements.

One particular issue the TRC failed to make an impartial enquiry into were the population policy motives and causes for Afrikaners implementing the political policy of Apartheid as an act of Just War Self Defense against African cultures population explosion breeding war.

Guerrilla warfare, as fought by the Boers one century ago, is recognized internationally as the honourable defence by disciplined fighters against a superior, armed enemy. The Boers attacked classical military targets, even though outnumbered most of the time by overwhelming numbers. Serious students who wish to get an unbiased and balanced picture of the kind of terrorist 'war' fought by terrorist organisations like the ANC/SACP, the PAC and others should read the book The Other Side of the Story by Herman Stadtler, Sigma Press, ISBN 0-620-21100-8.

The Church Street bombing was a car bomb attack on 20 May 1983 by Umkhonto we Sizwe, the military wing of the African National Congress, in the South African capital Pretoria. The bombing killed 19 and wounded more than 200, and was one of the largest attacks engaged in by the ANC during its armed struggle against apartheid. The attack consisted of a car bomb set off outside the Nedbank Square building on Church Street at 4:30pm on a Friday. The target was South African Air Force (SAAF) headquarters, but as the bomb was set to go off at the height of rush hour, those killed and wounded included civilians. The bomb went off ten minutes earlier than planned, killing two ANC operatives in the vehicle, Freddie Shangwe and Ezekial Maseko. At least 20 ambulances took the dead and wounded to hospital.
