Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, who, on getting to know about the Charter process has offered to be the patron of the Charter, will speak at the launch.

I doubt Archbishop Desmond Tutu has practiced transparency to inform you of this information; honourable transparency is -- unfortunately -- not high on his list of priorities or value system.

The Jesuits or Society of Jesus (Latin: Societas Iesu, S.J., SJ, or SI) is a religious order of men called Jesuits, who follow the teachings of the Catholic Church. Jesuit priests and brothers—also sometimes known colloquially as "God's Marines" and as "The Company". The Society of Jesus was founded on August 15, 1534, by Ignatius of Loyola (born Íñigo López de Loyola), a Spaniard of Basque origin, and six other students at the University of Paris who met in Montmartre outside Paris, in a crypt beneath the church of Saint Denis, now Saint Pierre de Montmartre.
