Johannesburg - There would be more than 4.4 million more people in South Africa if it were not for the Aids pandemic, according to a survey released on Monday.

"Currently, there are 50.6m people in the country. In the absence of Aids, this would have been 55m," said the SA Institute of Race Relations (SAIRR).

"The data shows that 31% of all deaths in 2011 were Aids-related. By 2015, this proportion will have risen to 33%. In 2025, there will be 121% more Aids deaths than there were in 2000," it said.

SAIRR said and estimated six million people would be living with HIV/Aids in 2015, double the number recorded in 2000.

Researcher Thuthukani Ndebele said HIV/Aids had resulted in a significantly slower population growth rate.

"Not only does HIV/Aids reduce life expectancy and increase mortality, but it is largely responsible for wider social ills such as orphanhood and child-headed households," he said.

The survey is based on data sourced from the Actuarial Society of South Africa and the Institute for Futures Research.

Voorpost wishes to draw attention to the racist violence against the white population in South Africa. Voorpost wants the Dutch goverment to call the South African Ambassador to the carpet to hold him accountable for what the SA Goverment is doing to whites in South Africa. It is unacceptable to Voorpost that there is an ethnic genocide occuring on farms in South Africa, without any criticism from Netherlands. Thus we support the Afrikaners, stop anti-white racism!

Since the population of South Africa have abolished apartheid, the attention of the international media has ignored events in South Africa. The situation of the Afrikaner volk, also known as the ‘boeren’, is drastically deteriorating. Since 1994 more than 3,000 white farmers have been murdered in South Africa, under gruesome circumstances. The situation is so urgent that the Washington based organisation Genocide Watch in September 2011 raised the status of the white South African genocide from phase 5 (polarisation) to stage 6 (preparation).

The Dutch government, like its predecessors, allows for a deafening silence regarding these serious violations of human rights. In the European Parliament, however, the MP Philip Claeys has raised the matter of these massacres to the EU spotlight. Voorpost demands the Dutch goverment also signs up their objections.

For Voorpost, racist violence is unacceptable. That is why Voorpost shall be conducting a protest on Thursday, November 24, from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the South African Embassy in The Hague. Voorpost Post draws attention to the racist murders of white farmers in South Africa and also demands action from the South African government. The protest action has been reported to the police. Voorpost Netherlands director shall also make a speech at the protest.

UNPO: Henri Le Riche Confronts Amnesty: Why Silence on Boer Murders?

Dear Amnesty International,

As a member of Amnesty International, the UNPO.org and a minority member myself,
I am writing in regard about Amnesty International security report (PDF) of South Africa.

I specifically refer to the report leaving out human rights abuses taking place against Afrikaner farmers. It seems like Amnesty International is tip-toeing around these issue with "politically correct tap-dancing" shoes, or because of not accessing the correct channels,which is the victims themselves. Either way I hope that I can help in allowing Amnesty International to access the true information regarding these issues as am in a position to do so.

This is specifically about the farmers, the white minority of South Africa, being targeted and clear human rights abuses taking place, including government areas, to try and determine why this is not getting the attention it deserves. There are hate crimes committed against farmers in South Africa. Black famers are also sometimes victims, but the brutality is specific against the minority Afrikaner farmers as they represent about 6 to 8% of the population.

I hope you can help me determine the following in order for me to try and find out why this important information is not taking seriously by Amnesty International?

I would like to know who the Amnesty Internationals investigators are that set up these reports, and also which local human rights groups they visit to gather this information. I would like to contact them directly. I would appreciate your help in giving me answers to this as it will help me determine why the correct information is not channeled through. For instance. Have these investigators spoken to organisations representing the minority to find out what is really happening, or did they go to organisations actually more concerned with issues relating to the human rights issues affecting the majority, and look after majority rights issues? In other words, Government sponsored 'human rights organisations'?

I have long struggled with the question of UHURU - its dynamics and probability. No doubt there is enough directed anger at the white race to perpetuate a hundred UHURUs.

Malema may chirp his threats and warnings in the pretense that his world exists in a vacuum. He is terribly, terribly mistaken. Regardless of the contempt Malema and his followers have for whites, the question remains whether he or his followers are foolish enough to undertake an enterprise that would give rise to an unbridled response?

During the past three years I have studied and watched the unfolding story of The Rainbow Nation. I am not amused. Neither are tens of millions of other Americans.

Back in the 1980s, South Africa figured prominently on the West’s radar screen. Protests against apartheid were everywhere; the movement even inspired a song: “Sun City.” With the fall of the apartheid regime in 1994, however, people lost interest in the faraway land.

But with the murder of Eugene Terreblanche, leader of the neo-Nazi Afrikaner Resistance Movement (AWB), South Africa is, albeit briefly, back in the news. What the media isn’t reporting, though, is that the killing of Terreblanche has little to do with his unpalatable political views, but is part of a wider pattern of targeting whites — virtually none of whom are supremacists. In fact, thousands of white farmers have already been murdered.

While racial strife in South Africa isn’t surprising, the current level of violence is no accident, but the work of a demagogue. His name is Julius Malema.

Leader of the ruling African National Congress’ (ANC’s) Youth Movement, Malema is a black supremacist who aims to follow in the footsteps of Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, who has long been persecuting white farmers in his nation. David Smith at The Guardian reports on the story, presenting a glimpse of a dystopian South African future:

The year is 2019. President Julius Malema thumps his fist on the lectern and roars: "South Africa shall never be a colony again!" He whips up the crowd into a patriotic frenzy with chants about the hated Boers. He promises: "We will drive the white man from the land, we will drive him from the mines, we will drive him from the boardrooms. Africa for the Africans."

Open Letter from Rudi Prinsloo, of Die Nuwe Suid Afrika; to John Minto, New Zealands Anti-Apartheid Activist Expert, who only recently visited South Africa for the first time -- doesn't seem to take much 'expertise' to be an 'expert' in New Zealand.

Mr John Minto,

You are a true activist in every sense of the word. You have dedicated your life to the causes you believe in, and I for one can tell from observation, that you are truly passionate about your beliefs and that you work tirelessly to uplift the groups and people that you support. This is the mark of a real man and I respect you for that. Interestingly enough, both friends and enemies of the late Eugene Terre'blanche have attributed the same qualities to him.

Having been at the forefront of the anti-apartheid struggle movement in New Zealand since the early days, it is no wonder that New Zealanders turn to you for moral guidance whenever political and social events in South Africa draw the attention of the international media.

It is for the above reasons that I am writing this letter to you because I believe that it places a great responsibility on you to give New Zealanders an accurate and balanced report. What follows are some undiluted facts about the current dire situation in South Africa and around the murder of Eugene Terre'blanche.

1) The youth leader of the ruling ANC party, Julius Malema, has been, and continues to promote, extreme hatred amongst his followers against the already marginalised Afrikaner minority by his public speeches and the singing of controversial songs which include the words "Kill the Boer".

2) The ANC leadership refuses to condemn these actions, and are actively trying to overturn a court ruling banning the song.

3) As a very small minority, the Afrikaners have no means of defence as they have been largely disarmed and have no political influence any more.

Since the origins of the Swiss Confederation in 1291, it has been the duty of every male Swiss citizen to be armed and to serve in the militia. Today, that arm is an 'assault rifle,' which is issued to every Swiss male and which must be kept in the home. During Germany's Third Reich (1933-1945), that arm was a bolt-action repeating rifle, which was highly effective in the hands of Switzerland's many sharpshooters.

Americans of the wartime generation were familiar with the fact that brave and armed little Switzerland stood up to Hitler and made him blink.

As a map of Europe in 1942 shows, the Nazis had swallowed up most of everything on the continent but this tiny speck that Hitler called 'a pimple on the face of Europe.' The Fuhrer boasted that he would be 'the butcher of the Swiss,' but the Wehrmacht was dissuaded by a fully armed populace in the Alpine terrain. ...

The Swiss federal shooting festival, which remains the largest rifle competition in the world, was held in Luzern in June 1939. Hitler's takeover of Austria and Czechoslovakia was complete, both countries had been surrendered by tiny political elites who guaranteed that there would be no resistance.

Swiss President Philipp Etter spoke at the festival, stressing that something far more serious than sport was the purpose of their activity. His comments demonstrated the connection between nationaldefense and the armed citizen:

'There is probably no other country that, like Switzerland, gives the soldier his weapon to keep in the home. The Swiss always has his rifle at hand. It belongs to the furnishings of his home. ... That corresponds to ancient Swiss tradition.

AUGUST 22, 2003 -- RACIAL HATRED is the main cause of the incredibly high violence- and cruelty level which specifically target the primarily Afrikaner victims of farm attacks.

This is one of the shock findings of the long-awaited farm attack report, which the Afrikaans-language Beeld newspaper has managed to publish in spite of the decision yesterday by the South African government security and safety Minister to “hold back its publication.”

UNITED NATIONS, Nov. 8 — The United States accused South Africa on Thursday of obstructing an American-drafted General Assembly resolution that would specifically condemn rape and sexual abuse used by governments and armed groups to achieve political and military objectives.

Speaking in a telephone interview from Washington, Ms. Silverberg said that the South Africans were demanding watered-down language that would make the resolution one about sexual violence in general rather than one about sexual violence sponsored by governments. “We think there is a real difference between governments that fail to prevent rape and governments that actively promote it, and we do not want the resolution to blur that difference,” she said.

The resolution, which currently has 61 co-sponsors, would also call on the secretary general to report back to the General Assembly on evidence of government-sanctioned rape.
